S. Botello Productions™ (SBP) established in 2006, has always promoted storytelling through video and film. Founder and owner Susy Botello has worked professionally in the video production industry in San Diego since 1998. She also has had the privilege of working on short films and a couple feature length films. Susan has an Associates in Science degree in Media Communications. She studied film, video production & journalism.
We believe in empowering people through storytelling, we refer to it as “storysharing.” We know the best way to tell stories is through film and video.

Why be a part of the International Mobile Film Festival? This is the story.
The International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego was launched in 2009 and was one of the first, if not the first, film festival in the world to hold a traditional film festival showcasing global films shot with only mobile phones on a big screen, with Q&A Sessions, Workshops, networking and a Red Carpet Awards Ceremony.
Due to the COVID-19 Corona Virus situation, the International Mobile Film Festival 2020 worked to stay on schedule and provide an exceptional virtual film festival experience online, on April 25 & 26. #MFF2020SanDiego
S. Botello Productions™ officially launched the Mobile Film School (non-accredited) September 4, 2012.
IndePendence day 2013 we launched the Mobile Film Network Distribution Channel (MFTV) designed to share mobile films in a dedicated channel wherever the user would like to watch, anywhere with a web browser on Apple TV, smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. MobileChannel.TV was revamped on IndiePendence Day 2019 asa new way to distribute films and videos as a network with subscribing video creators who would like to promote their smartphone videos and films and increase their following.
In 2017, SBP launched the Global Mobile Film Awards™ dubbed as the “Oscars” of the mobile filmmaking industry as an online awards ceremony with member film festivals.
We launched the SBP Podcast: The Voice Of Mobile Film™ in late 2017. Listen anywhere.
In 2018 we spent the summer promoting the newly implemented mobile film community program: hashtag #MobilizeStories with monthly themed contests and events.
We presented a Mobile Filmmaking Panel for the fourth consecutive year at the San Diego Comic-Con International in San Diego.
We had the honor of being a part of Heartland Film’s first IndyShorts International Film Festival where we presented a mobile filmmaking workshop seminar. Find out more.
We then spent a week teaching a Mobile Film Summer Camp with the Carlsbad High School Film Academy organized by RoniSue Player and Instructor Jeff Brandmeyer.
