Why be a part of the International Mobile Film Festival? This is the story.

The International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego was launched in 2009 and was one of the first, if not the first, film festival in the world to hold a traditional film festival showcasing global films shot with only mobile phones on a big screen, with Q&A Sessions, Workshops, networking and a Red Carpet Awards Ceremony.

Due to the COVID-19 Corona Virus situation, the International Mobile Film Festival 2020 worked to stay on schedule and provide an exceptional virtual film festival experience online, on April 25 & 26. #MFF2020SanDiego

We then spent a week teaching a Mobile Film Summer Camp with the Carlsbad High School Film Academy organized by RoniSue Player and Instructor Jeff Brandmeyer.

“It was great. I think you’re enthusiastic, you’re very knowledgable, you get along great with the kids, you’re very patient and you have a lot of great information—and I think the kids really enjoyed it. They seemed like they were very focused and engaged through the whole process—all four days. And they were five-hour days, so that’s saying a lot.” Jeff Brandmeyer Instructor, Carlsbad High School Film Academy.
