Our new platform, Mobile Film Stories is an online distribution streaming service for smartphone films and videos with a collaborative space for mobile smartphone filmmakers and their audiences to connect, collaborate and discuss mobile filmmaking.
The International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego was launched in 2009 and was one of the first, if not the first, film festival in the world to hold a traditional film festival showcasing global films shot with only mobile phones on a big screen, with Q&A Sessions, Workshops, networking and a Red Carpet Awards Ceremony.
In 2017, SBP launched the Global Mobile Film Awards™ dubbed as the “Oscars” of the mobile filmmaking industry as an online awards ceremony with member film festivals.
We launched the SBP Podcast: The Voice Of Mobile Film™ in late 2017. Listen anywhere.
We then spent a week teaching a Mobile Film Summer Camp with the Carlsbad High School Film Academy organized by RoniSue Player and Instructor Jeff Brandmeyer.
“It was great. I think you’re enthusiastic, you’re very knowledgable, you get along great with the kids, you’re very patient and you have a lot of great information—and I think the kids really enjoyed it. They seemed like they were very focused and engaged through the whole process—all four days. And they were five-hour days, so that’s saying a lot.”Jeff Brandmeyer, Instructor Carlsbad High School Film Academy
